Lovely New Trends To Try

Happy Friday Everyone!

I cannot wait for 5 o'clock to get here so I can be free for 2 whole days!
Ryan and I didn't make any plans since he has to work super early tomorrow but we are thinking about seeing Shutter Island and then doing our weekly grocery shopping early.

The grocery store is always better on a Friday night, except for a few stoned teenagers in the frozen food section it's nice and quiet!
and I have heard such good things about Shutter Island - can't wait!

So, I have decided that I am totally loving some new trends that are around,

I'm loving minis

Nudes
Handbags & Shoes the best

Military Inspried Looks

and bold patterns

have you seen any that you are in love with and want to try??

I have also decided that in 2010 I would like to following people to go away:

Lindsay Lohan
Octomom

Please do us all a favor. Images via Perez Hilton.

Have a lovely weekend!
and please tell me what trends you're loving or trying!

It's In My Jeans

This week has been very taxing already. I'm feeling pretty upbeat but I'm so tired for some reason. Maybe I can blame it on the Olympics being so late on the East Coast. I had to DVR women's skating last night.

Either way I'm so tired and so unmotivated but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about fashion and other fun things. So I'll share with you what is currently on my mind.

Jeans
I live in jeans. I wear them to work. I wear them out. I wear them all the time!
My favorites:

 Gap's 1969 Sexy Bootcut Jeans
I have them in both the dark wash and white wash.
The best fittin jean I have ever owned. I swear.

Cheap Monday Tight Skinny Jeans in Black
Wearing these today, so in love.
They are higher waisted which I prefer and affordable at $65.

ReRock for Express cropped jeans
One of my fav styles for spring & summer

J Brand Marta Mid Rise Skinny in Tyro
another great fit!

Job hunting
Still working on it!!
My Boss had a melt down this morning because my co-worker giggled.
Screaming: "If you're going to be just laughing and talking and not working you can all go home and come back when you're done"
Apparantly it's not ok to talk or laugh in this office and if you are doing either it means you aren't doing any work.
Go figure.

Organizing
Since the holidays the clutter has been piling up in our home.
I need to spend like, a whole day organizing and we seriously need another shelf deal in our place.

Anywho, I hope everyone is having a great week and that your Boss isn't a raving lunatic like mine.
Sorry I haven't been commenting much lately.
I promise I am reading!

Pet Health Insurance

Health care can be expensive whether it’s for yourself or your pet. Many times medication can be the simple but costly fix for your pet’s ailments, but prescription medicine can be highly costly so thousands of people are turning to all natural supplements instead. These supplements have proven to be a great alternative while being just as effective as prescriptions. But not every situation can be handled with medication or even supplements. Sometime accidents occur or emergencies arise that require costly health care for your pet.

Although it may feel as if you are paying more for your pet’s health care than your own, chances are that you probably have adequate health care insurance for your own needs which end up masking the total costs. You may never see the total bottom-line figure for your own doctor bills because of this insurance. When human health care costs are added up-including insurance, deductibles, and pharmaceutical costs-there is no comparison to the much lower veterinary care costs. But many people may not realize that they have the option of having health insurance for their pets too. You never know when an emergency can occur and your pet can need surgery or expensive medication. The American Animal Hospital Association strongly suggests that all pet owning families assess their financial situation and consider their ability to meet unexpected expenses that may be incurred for veterinary care. Having insurance for them helps to cut down the cost for emergency surgeries or other health related problems, but it’s not always a cheap endeavor. For those considering pet health insurance, AAHA offers several suggestions. Check them out HERE.

For those who believe they would not have the means to handle such expenses through savings, credit cards or medical payment cards, pet health insurance merits serious consideration. Since pet insurance policies are available with various limits, coverage, benefits, exclusions and deductibles, selecting the proper policy can be confusing. To alleviate the confusion and help educate pet owners about meeting the cost of veterinary care, the Association has created the AAHA Seal of Acceptance. Healthypet is a great website source of information relating to pet care. They have a designated area that discusses pet insurance. The website has links to pet insurance websites where you can learn more about your options and give you help in selecting the right health insurance policy. Pet insurance can be worthwhile to save money in emergency situations for that special pet in your life.

Get Low Cost Auto Insurance

Nowadays getting car insurance is pretty much a necessity. And just about every single state in the US requires people just like you and I to the get and maintain car insurance coverage. This can be a major burden for most families especially with the way the economy is.

Things are a lot more expensive than usual. Fortunately there are many ways that you can get low cost auto insurance and still get a pretty good deal on your car insurance premium. If you do your homework first you too can get low cost auto insurance.

What you need to do is to check your motor vehicle report. The typical motor vehicle report shows tickets, accidents and violations that can affect your auto insurance rates. Every once in a while your motor vehicle report might have inaccurate information about you so what you need to do is to make sure everything is correct. This is an important step to get low cost auto insurance.

If you want to get quotes from all the top automobile insurance companies there are a couple ways you can go about it. One of the first way if to go to an agent in your area that represents many of these companies. They can help you get quotes from all of the top automobile insurance companies. This can often be a time consuming process. Your next option is to shop for low cost auto insurance online.

All of the top car insurance companies have websites online and they can give you a pretty good quote in a couple minutes. All that is required on your part is to put in some information about your current driving history and they will do the rest of the work for you so you can get the best low cost automobile insurance quote.

A Beautiful Day In Boston

So this weekend has been quite lovely starting with Girls' Night In on Friday. Hours were spent chatting, drinking red wine and eating Mac 'n Cheese shaped like cell phones, shoes and handbags.
We laughed until we could laugh no more and just enjoyed eachothers' company.
Nothing beats a great night with the Girls.

Today Ryan and I headed down to Boston to take in the Harry Potter exhibit along with the rest of the Museum of Science.
Afterwards we walked around Boston Common, the Public Garden and enjoyed an early dinner at PF Changs China Bistro.
The sun was shining all day, it was absolutely a beautiful day to be in Boston.

Soooo big!

Jillian Michaels Kicked My Butt

I was lucky enough to have the day off yesterday
woohoo!
It's a rarity so ya, I was a bit excited.

Aaanyway, since my Man still had to work I got up very early,
once that alarms goes off it's all over.
I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi since the last pedicure I had was in, um, November!
and I got an early appointment since I was awake anyway.
I got my toes & nails painted OPI's Meet Me On The Star Ferry which is part of their new Hong Kong Collection. It's going to be my new signature color because I LOVE IT.

pretty pretty

When I got home from the Salon I made hamburgers for me and the Man.
He works very close to our place & gets a nice hour long lunch break.
So we spent some time together before he had to leave me again!
Then I laid on the couch for pretty much the rest of the day watching TV and movies.

Since he had plans to meet up with a friend for drinks after dinner and I was going to be home alone,
I decided to finally try that 30 Day Shred that all you Blogger ladies have been raving about
 oh. my. god.
I am in so much pain today.
Every muscle in my body hurts.
Jillian Michaels seriously kicked my ass.

please don't hurt me

I am going to the gym today too so that should be fun considering I can barely move!
But it was a good workout and I will never do it again stick with it as a supplement to my time in the gym!

I hope everyone is having a lovely day!
We were once again promised mucho snow but none has arrived.
Bummer.

My Weekend: Laid back Valentine's Day

Happy Monday everyone! Did you all have a lovely Valentine's Day weekend? I'll have to catch up on my blog reading to see all the fun.

We kept it low key and simple this year opting not to exchange gifts and just go out for a nice meal.

We tried out a restuarant downtown called Michael Timothy's Urban Bistro & Wine Bar. It is owned by the same couple that owns our favorite restaurant, Buckley's (where we went for our 1 year anniversary). The restaurant itself was very tiny, it felt a little like we were sitting on top of the table next to us. The food was phenomal though and since it is also a Wine Bar the wine selection was fab. I would definitely dine there again but maybe on a less busy night.

We did get dolled up for our dinner. I wore the blue Express skirt that I blogged about with a black puff sleeve top from H&M, Steve Madden Luxe heels and a couple of silver bangles. I also carried a sequin clutch from Coach. Ryan looked dapper in a blue Express shirt and black slacks.

I had the lamb and Ryan had the Filet Mignon. Both of our meals were fantastic. We even ordered desserts since it was our Valentine's Dinner. Coconut Rum Boston Creme Torte on the right.

On Valentines Day, we went to see Valentine's Day. It was cute, a few good laughs and romantic moments. Taylor Swift was awful and it was definitely not Love Actually.
Still cute though. I wore red in honor of the holiday and after the movie we went home to enjoy a bottle of Moet & Chandon White Star and relax.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. And for those of you who got today off, like me, I hope you are enjoying it!
