What The Fug?! Royal Wedding Edition

There was so much hype about Kate excuse me, Catherine Middleton's wedding dress and of course, she looked stunning in her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown but what about the wedding guests?

London is quite fond of hats and more recently, fascinators. I'm still not even really sure what those are but I do know that there were some crazy hats and things present today.

My daddy loves fishing so. 

He ever said that one day when he is old already, he want to stay by the beach so he can fishing all day all time.

Then I asked, how about our family?

He answered easily that He will take my mom with him after my sister and I get married and after my brother has had his own house & family.

What a strange dream, I think! ha-ha-ha

But that's my dad! The real Mancing Mania :p

Yesterday, my daddy went to P.Pandang for fishing, of course.

He came home with a big fish. The biggest fish he ever fished!

This morning, mom cooked the fish. Taste delicious, lo! :D

I don't know what fish it is. I just know that it's BIG!

He looks messy, right? He always look like that everytime he came back from fishing!

3days ago, one of my best seniors, Santoso, celebrated his 18!

He treated us at Bagelen. We brought him a chocolate cake.

What a wonderful dinner!

I remember I ate a lot that night, readers. Ha-ha-ha

The fact is, I can't stop my mouth to eat. It's the hardest thing ever for me :(

Never mind Never mind! Don't talk about the food that was already in my stomach anymore.

Easter in New York

We were able to spend Easter in NY with my family, It's always so great (and rare) when we can all be home for a holiday.

On Saturday night we had a cozy dinner at home with my Parents and siblings. We dined on lamb, broccoli casserole & mashed potatoes and washed it all down with good conversation & delicious red wine.

After dinner we we relaxed in the great room while the boys watched the Bruins beat the Canadiens in double OT. My Mom had the most gorgeous tulips on display,  I just adore spring flowers.



We woke up Easter Sunday to discover that the bunny had visited us! I can't believe he found us all at my Parents house. wink wink.

I've had the same Easter basket for my entire life. You can probably tell which one it is since it's falling apart!

After chowing down on blueberry pancakes and of course, candy we headed out for a sunday morning stroll.

It was absolutely beautiful outside and we enjoyed the fresh air. There were plenty of little critters out and about and flowers springing up everywhere!

Normally we spend Easter at one of our Aunt's & Uncle's  homes but since my Grandmother has been living in a nursing home since last fall we decided to pack it up and bring Easter to her. My Grandmother suffers from Alzheimers and receives better care where she is. Being able to spend a holiday with her was the best Easter gift.

Some of the beautiful women in my family. My cousin Kelly, on the left, looks amazing almost 2 months after her horrible car accident. She still amazes me everyday. Easter is really all about family for me and there was no shortage on this trip!

I hope everyone had a great Easter!

What the Hell was Wrong With Me?

Huuuuuuuuu ToothFairiers!

Is there any annoying thing than to be called 'ibuk' by a ma'am that surely is 30year older than you?!

I guess there's not, right? Yahh.. It happened to me 3hours ago and immediately broke my confidence(!)

Holy shit! That's the 1st thing that came to my mind that time.

Readers, would you mind me sharing my story?

Hmm.. May I? Really? That's the best of you :D Here's it!

3 hours ago, when I was washing the dishes...

A ma'am came toward me and the conversation started.

( FYI, in my parent's restaurant, to go to the toilet, you must to pass the sink first)

Ma'am : Is that the toilet, buk? May I use it? (pointing the toilet)

Me      : ........... (I don't think that the ma'am was talking to me so I keep on washing)

Ma'am : Buk? Is that the toilet?

Me      : (Then I realize that there's no one except me at the sink so I turn to her) Yes? Oh.. Yes, it is. Go ahead, please.

Ma'am : (look surprised) Oh I'm sorry, dek.

Me      : It's okay. (smile) 'Shit you! You're the ibuk-ibuk. Not me' (I talk to myself of course)

Oh, after the ma'am entered the toilet, I started to check myself and I think there was nothing hell wrong with me. So how could she...? Oh Gosh! Then I realized that my skirt and my bun*ikat sanggul* caused me looked older and a little looked like ibuk-ibuk if people don't see my cute face :D

Then I laughed myself a lot at the same time when the ma'am came out of the toilet.

I swear, I wont wear skirt anymore when I have bun(!) :D

I feel better now, cheer!

My 1st Easter(!)

Yesterday was Easter, wasn't it?

Wow! You know readers, that's my 1st Easter and I was so excited and nervous because of it :D

Beside, I had to appear to the choir(!)

FYI, I hate singing or appearing something in front of the crowd. Herh!

So when both of them had to done together, Can you imagine how nervous I was??

Of course, NERVOUS TO THE MAX(!) ha-ha-ha

But I think I've done it well. I believed God blessed me that time and always.

BTW, do you ever heard about a flower called Dendelion?

Actually, it's not a rare species of flowers.

Here, in North Sumatera, you can even find it at Brastagi.

Readers, Do you know that Dendelion has a beautiful meaning?

The meaning of Dendelion are love me, affection returned, hard desire, sympathy, faithfulness, happiness and love's oracle.

Surely I guess, you must be confused  about why I talked about this, didn't you?

Here, let me tell you then :)

Dendelion, this flower, has its own place in my heart, You know (!)

WHY? Yeah, because I was given this flower by someone special of mine about 3years ago!

He told me that Dendelion means eternity, like his Love to me, forever and everlasting..

That time, I didn't believe him at all. I thought there's nothing special with the flower.

But now, It's a different story :D

He makes me believe him by proving the meaning of Dendelion to me.

What The Fug?!

Happy Friday!

I am scooting off to New York this evening to spend Easter weekend on Long Island with my family. I am so looking forward to a relaxing weekend filled with good conversation, fine wine & family.

With my bridal showers & bachelorette on the horizon I have been spending some time browsing dresses online. I am determined to find the perfect one for each joyous occassion but in the process I discovered this...monstrosity.

It reminds me of the dress Julia Roberts wore as a hooker in Pretty Woman only it worked for her in the movie, it does not work here!

It's just awful. I found it at Lulus and for a whopping $55 you too can channel your inner hooker. Ew.

So tell me, would YOU wear this?

and what are your Easter plans?

I sure hope the bunny comes this year...
