I just installed ClickToFlash (http://rentzsch.github.com/clicktoflash/) on all my Macs and my browsing experience has dramatically increased 1000% for the better. No more intrusive pop-up ads, distracting animations, and more importantly, long-loading, resource-intensive, useless, gimmicky intros and gadgets... unless I specifically ask for it.
That is a testament to exactly what's wrong with the internet.
Having to have an app to do that.
Shouldn't be there in the first place.
And Adobe perpetuates it.

I don't see this mentioned here, but Apple have told MacWorld (http://www.macworld.com/news/2006/08/17/wirelesshack/index.php) - my bolding:
Despite SecureWorks being quoted saying the Mac is threatened by the exploit demonstrated at Black Hat, they have provided no evidence that in fact it is, Apple Director of Mac PR, Lynn Fox, told Macworld. To the contrary, the SecureWorks demonstration used a third party USB 802.11 devicenot the 802.11 hardware in the Maca device which uses a different chip and different software drivers than those on the Mac. Further, SecureWorks has not shared or demonstrated any code in relation to the Black Hat-demonstrated exploit that is relevant to the hardware and software that we ship.

:( If it makes you feel any better, I slashed the tires of a guy the other day who was wearing a "I support single mothers" t-shirt with a silhouette of a stripper pole-dancing.
Why would you slash his tires, assuming your not exaggerating?

You would think the designer would take a trip to Tokyo once in awhile.
How about mocha chocolate, orange, or white.
Ipods used to be small status items. These look like sh**
I will take the new shuffle, at least it is small & I can hide it.

I certainly hope that the resolution on the Apple Movie Store will be AT LEAST 480x720 (aka 480P). Otherwise, between Netflix and super cheap DVDs these days, I don't see how Apple can compete with lower than DVD resolution.I fear the files will be too big to download. It would be an overnighter to download a 320*240 movie as it is with my connection, anything bigger will just take far too long. And anyway, if they did that, people would have to re-encode it for their iPods.

Movies purchased from the iTunes Store can't be burned to a DVD or VCD that will play in a DVD player or Video CD.Ya and Im sure you wont get the nice DVD extras either.

I tried Rapidweaver, but it wasn't for me the template system seemed to get in the way when I tried it. I do a lot of CSS coding and work a lot with Wordpress. I can used other programs to write code for Wordpress, Espresso works well and I use CSSEdit for working exclusively with CSS, but there are times I want a good WYSIWYG editor for laying out pages quickly and not have to switch between a preview and code view. So far KomPozer is the one that is the closest, but it is buggy and unfinished, I always find myself going back to Dreamweaver and wishing for something else.
Actually i was going to mention Wordpress, but I don't use it, so...
If you are seasoned and comfortable to work in CSS, RW is probably not for you either.
The template part is what I actually love. They are malleable, and you can make your own. Coming from a magazine design background it just seemed very analogous to how I always worked and thought in print work...

Anyone watching Studio 60 on NBC tonight, Matthew Perry was using an aluminum 12" or 13" MacBook Pro. You could tell that it was a MacBook Pro and not a G4 because there was an iSight built in to the lid right above the screen. If you Tivo'd it, check it out! it was approximately 20 minutes in to the show.

u must take really good care of yours. ive seen many people around campus whose iBooks have turned an odd shade of grey or brown...i guess dirt gets caught in the scratches
Not really. I mean, I do wash the casing every once in a while, but I'm not obsessive over it. It's a computer, and it'll look however it does after the use I put it through.

Uhm, you are a bit confused.
Which tells me, that Apple has done a poor job of getting Safari to work well with Flash.
That's like saying that Microsoft should make windows work better with iTunes... kinda backwards.
Given that Safari is the fastest browser out there, I think Apple has done their part. Adobe needs to step up, and optimize flash for osx.

Again, you can compare charging decisions and convictions among the various races in a city like London, but there is no way to compare the propensity of a race to commit crimes. How do you know what those numbers are other than to look at who was charged and/or convicted of crimes?

Way back when, I asked my mother to buy me the first Beatles album, Meet the Beatles. I remember being home, sick in bed, home from school and she came home with the bag. I was so excited. I ripped it open (ripped meant something very different in 1964) and out I pulled : The Buggs: The Beetle Beat (note spelling)........my friends laughed at me... my mother is now dead.
So it is Christmas 2006. Some kid wants an iPod and his parents gives him a ZUNE. And it's a brown one.:D

I don't know if I should give this a postive or negative. Either way, I hate Microsoft.
It is good news, at 400 buckeroos people will go "Wa!!" and look at the price tag of a Mac Mini, figuring Macs are not so expensive after all.

I do understand ... very clearly
we do not need to cut corners on things like Helicopters by hanging onto ancient machines like the Sea King Helicopters or as they are known ..."flying coffins"
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/cdnmilitary/seaking.html
You still have not answered the question. For what purpose does Canada need a larger military? Who is the threat?
Cheers,
Ahmed
