Labor Day Weekend

We spent the long weekend in New York City and could not have asked for better weather!
Heading into the City when so many people were heading out of it also made the journey to NY so nice. We didn't hit any traffic at all, unheard of.

We dined at some delicious restaurants like Southern Hospitality, La Bottega, and Mercadito

enjoyed drinks at Soho House, The Frying Pan and Wine & Roses.

Our last day was spent at beautiful South Street Seaport where we took in the Bodies Exhibition and enjoyed a leisurely lunch outside.

I love New York

It's A Bird, It's A Plane....Yup It's A Plane

Lots of planes actually.
This past Sunday the Fiance and I along with his brother and sister headed to the Boston-Portsmouth Air Show It's been years since I've gone to one of these but it was definitely a blast. There were hundreds of planes there some flying, doing stunts, some stationary that you could tour and some with people jumping out of them!

We parked ourselves pretty close to the action and proceeded to witness awe inspiring aerial acrobatics, Top Gun style fly-bys  and some seriously loud engines. The Army's Golden Angels flight and jump team performed and closing out the show, the famous Navy Blue Angels.

It was a perfectly day for an air show, not a cloud in the clear blue sky and the sun was shining. It was well over 90 degrees in NH and I have the sunburn to prove it! Ryan and I even got to stand inside the Turbine Engine of a Boeing 757!

Who doesn't love an air show?!
