Water Fire

This weekend my Fiance and I headed to Providence, RI to spend time with my Parents and see Water Fire. If you've never experienced this and live in the area I highly reccomend checking it out.

WaterFire centers on a series of 100 bonfires that blaze just above the surface of the three rivers that pass through the middle of downtown Providence. The entire area is transformed into a Gothic festival with people dressed as Gargoyles, gondolas in the water, live music, and outdoor food stands and bars.

Thousands of people come to see Water Fire and it's an experience for all five senses.
They use cedar wood which gives off this amazing scent while it burns and you can feel the heat of the fires by just standing on the edges of the river.

The next day we explored Providence going from Brown University to Federal Hill, John Brown's House, the first Baptist Church in America and on a little Trolley tour.

Providence is such a great city that is rich with history and fun things to do!
And my fashion choices for our little trip?
I chose some airy, girly outfits to keep me cool in the 90+ degree weather.

Top: Express dress, Forever 21 necklace & sandals, vintage bracelet
Bottom: Old Navy skirt, tee and necklace, Jessica Simpson sandals.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
